Bon Secours becomes 1st & only accredited Geriatric Emergency Department in Upstate SC

Bon Secours announced it has earned accreditation as a bronze level Geriatric Emergency Department (GED) from the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), making it the first and only accredited geriatric ED in the Upstate.


This prestigious recognition highlights the hospital’s commitment to providing the highest quality emergency care tailored specifically for older adults. With this accreditation, Bon Secours joins an elite group of healthcare institutions that have demonstrated excellence in geriatric emergency care, ensuring seniors receive well-coordinated, specialized treatment in a setting designed to meet their unique needs.
