Hale’s Jewelers Chooses Verdae for New Flagship Location

(GREENVILLE, SC) – December 2020 – A Greenville establishment is getting a new location. Hale’s Jewelers will move from its current location on Haywood Road, where it has been since 1982, to Verdae, a planned community.

Following an extensive search for a new location, Hale’s chose Verdae for its central location in the upstate and for the high quality of the overall master planned community. Tyson Smoak of Pintail Capital Partners provided site selection services and Stuart Wyeth, also of Pintail, is serving as development consultant. Other key contributors include DP3 Architects, Mavin Construction, and Davis & Floyd Professional Engineering.

The project provides three free standing building sites – the first is the new Hale’s Jewelers, the second is an unannounced local retailer, and the third is still available for a build to suit. Hale’s is expected to occupy their building in the first quarter of 2021.

Hale’s new flagship location – a free-standing, two-level building -- will house a Rolex corner, a Forevermark area, and a private space for vendors and community partners. The plans include moving the Hale’s Clock, a local landmark installed in 1910, to the new property.

“Hale’s strong roots, illustrious history and community partnerships will be featured heavily in the new location,” said Hale’s owner Lucian Lee.
