More than 500 families living in homes managed by The Greenville Housing Authority have entered into a program aimed at them gaining financial self-sufficiency in the past year.

The Alliance, a $38 million project that will consist of two, four-story buildings on 3.8 acres at 1200 Laurens Road on the edge of the Nicholtown community.
