Wagner Wealth Management Advisors Honored in SCBIZ Leaders in Business & Finance Awards

GREENVILLE, SC – Two members of the Wagner Wealth Management team have been honored in the inaugural SCBIZ Leaders in Business & Finance Awards.

CEO and Founder Dan Wagner was honored in the Wealth Advisor category, while Wealth Advisor Clay Koch washonored in the Rising Star category.

“Our firm operates with a team approach, which isn’t always the case in the wealth management industry,” Wagner said. “We believe this approach is incredibly advantageous to our clients because each team member brings their own talents and experiences to the table, so these two honors recognize our entire team.”

The Leaders in Business & Finance Awards honor financial professionals who have made outstanding contributions to their organizations and to the South Carolina community. Recipientsof these awards demonstrate outstanding achievements, involvement in their profession, support of the community, and they contribute to the economic growth and stability of theregion. 

Wagner founded the firm in 2007, which has become one of the most respected wealth management firms in the state, earning honors such as Best in the Upstate four straight years, Best of South Carolina three straight years, two Empowering Women Honors, Greenville Chamber Small Business of the Year Finalist, and many others. 

In the community, Wagner serves on the board of the American Red Cross of the Western Carolinas and has been involved withlocal organizations such as Let There Be Mom, Carolina Loving Hound Rescue, Southside Christian School athletics, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and Clemson P.A.W. Journey.

Koch joined the Wagner Wealth Management team as a wealth advisor in 2024. His career in the financial services industry began in 2015, while he was pursuing his degree in International Business at College of Charleston. Outside the office, Koch is involved with First Tee, a non-profit organization that aims to make the game of golf affordable and accessible to children of all backgrounds.
