As the 20th anniversary of September 11th approaches, Upstate Warrior Solution, in accordance with the foundation’s mission, is proud to announce its role as a supporting sponsor of the 7th annual LEAD Upstate event. Upstate Warrior Solution acknowledges and appreciates the dedication and sacrifices given by first responders and veterans each and every day. LEAD Upstate, also known as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, honors Greenville County law enforcement officers. The goal of LEAD Upstate is to bridge the community and law enforcement together in the name of appreciation and gratitude. LEAD Upstate gives the community an opportunity to say thank you to all the law enforcement personnel in Greenville County including Greenville, Greer, Traveler’s Rest, Mauldin, Simpsonville, & Fountain Inn. LEAD Upstate sponsors are honored to host this event for the men and women who courageously dedicate their lives to serve the citizens of their communities every day.
Upstate Warrior Solution is proud of their partnerships with multiple law enforcement agencies across the Upstate. On May 19th, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between both the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and Upstate Warrior Solution, and the Greenville Police Department and Upstate Warrior Solution took place. Upstate Warrior Solution will serve as a referral resource providing housing, employment, healthcare, education, and other services to our military affiliated community members and first responders.
Upstate Warrior Solution is thankful for the continued support from their community partners. Recently, the foundation received a $20,000 grant from Duke Energy, which will positively impact their efforts to reach veterans and first responders across the Upstate while continuing to support the overall growth of the foundation.
Lastly, Upstate Warrior Solution acknowledges these tumultuous times for both warriors serving overseas and veterans . With the recent developments in Afghanistan, Upstate Warrior Solution continues to be a constant support for all of the Upstate’s brave warriors. It assists them with whatever they may need.
