GREENVILLE, S.C. — Hold that taco!
The hallmark Tacos ‘N Tequila Fiesta will have a new location at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest on June 5. The event was slated for the Judson Mill site, but High Spirits Events decided it needed a bigger space to fit the record number of participating bars and restaurants this year. That led to a change to Trailblazer Park.
“Tacos ‘N Tequila is a one-of-its-kind event,” said Tammy Johnson, CEO of High Spirits Hospitality, which oversees High Spirits Events. “We were very excited to holding the event at Judson Mill, which is where we plan to have a new event venue, but we realized we need a lot more space. We are excited to be heading to Trailblazer Park.”
Johnson added that High Spirits has worked many events at Trailblazer Park over the years, and know the Tacos ‘N Tequila festival goers will love it there.
Professional wrestling comes back to Tacos ‘N Tequila after a pandemic hiatus, and DJ FWB will keep people dancing and moving as they sample the wares of more than 20 bars and restaurants.
This year’s participating restaurants include Bar Margaret, Califas, Camp, Charleston Sports Pub, Comal 864, Crafted at Nose Dive, Element Catering, Mission Grill, Nard’s Backyard BBQ, Paloma, Papi’s Tacos, Pour Sports Pub & Grille, Society Sandwich Bar and Social Club, Sonny’s Grill on Main, Southernside Brewing Co., Sunflower Eatery, Topside Pool Club, Tupelo Honey, UP on the Roof, White Duck Taco Shop, White Wine & Butter, Willy Taco Feed & Seed, and Woodside Bistro.
All attendees must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid ID on them to enter the fiesta. Tickets include all the tacos you can handle along with all the tequila cocktails and beer you can responsibly drink, plus luchador wrestling action, live entertainment, yard games, and more!
There are three different ticket categories, VIP, General Admission, and Designated Driver:
VIP tickets are $80 and include early access to the event, plus access to the VIP area, VIP bar, a Lunazul Tequila tasting, an event swag bag, plus unlimited tacos and all-you-can-responsibly-drink Lunazul Tequila and Sierra Nevada beer.
General Admission Tickets are $55 and include unlimited tacos and all-you-can-responsibly drink Lunazul Tequila and Sierra Nevada beer.
Designated Driver tickets are $40 and include unlimited tacos and non-alcoholic beverages.
