GREENVILLE, S.C. – Rebuild Upstate has brought on Natalie Buck to be its new Volunteer Coordinator.
After graduating from the University of North Dakota, Buck received her Master of Divinity at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Buck served as Interim Community Curator at Neighborhood Church in Atlanta before moving to Greenville to become Spiritual Care Intern at Triune Mercy Center.
“I am very excited to join the Rebuild Upstate team as the volunteer coordinator,” said Buck. “The entire community benefits when our volunteers help to make homes safer, healthier, and more livable for low-income homeowners. I’m grateful that so many sponsors and volunteers are ready to help their neighbors.”
Rebuild Upstate helps low-income homeowners with home repairs and accessibility improvements to create safe, livable housing in existing homes and neighborhoods. Home repairs can range from small plumbing fixes to roof and floor replacements. Accessibility improvements range from installing grab bars and railings for vulnerable populations to building wheelchair ramps for those with disabilities.
“Because of her background and experience, Natalie is already a real asset to our team,” said Dayle Stewart, Community Engagement Director of Rebuild Upstate. “Her focus on our volunteer program will help us better serve the community as we continue to grow.”
