News journalist Michelle Legaspi joins NP Strategy

Strategic communications firm, NP Strategy, strengthens its media relations expertise with the addition of a 10th former news journalist to join the rapidly growing team. Michelle Legaspi will work in the firm’s Greenville, SC office and help manage media relations for clients served from all eight NPS offices in North and South Carolina.

“Today’s digital environment demands swift, strategic advice when it comes to messaging,” said Heather (Hoopes) Matthews, CEO, NP Strategy. “Michelle understands the media and social media demands facing our clients. She will deliver compelling communications advice with energy and authenticity.”

A native of the Upstate, Legaspi recently ended a career in TV news as a morning reporter for Fox Carolina News in Greenville. She also served as a multimedia journalist for WACH Fox 57 in Columbia, SC, shooting, writing and editing news stories on a daily basis.

“I have a passion for storytelling and the NP Strategy team is well known for its media and videography services,” said Michelle Legaspi, Communication Specialist, NP Strategy. “This is a wonderful opportunity for me to leverage my skill and help businesses and organizations across the Carolinas.”

Legaspi is a University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While in college, Michelle was the video manager for Kanakuk Kamps overseeing videographers in six locations.
