Mashburn Construction announced the hire of Brian D’Amico as Chief Financial Officer. Brian brings more than 15 years of accounting experience that will allow him to successfully lead the company’s accounting department and overall financial operations. He will join nine others on Mashburn’s Executive Committee, which helps steer the company in a strategic manner.
“The of year 2020 has brought many challenges but I couldn’t be happier to find such a great opportunity with Mashburn. I already feel like part of the family and I’m extremely excited for our future together,” says Brian D’Amico, CFO for Mashburn Construction.
Brian is a certified public accountant (CPA) who previously worked for Elliott Davis, LLC as a Principal. While at Elliott Davis, he was a member of the firm’s construction group and worked with contractors across the Southeast. In addition to construction clients, Brian also provided comprehensive assurance and advisory services to governmental and non-for-profit entities. He is involved in the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands, the Committee of 100, and the SC State Museum Foundation.
Hailing from Virginia, Brian came to South Carolina for college where he attended Clemson University and received both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy. Brian and his wife live in Lexington with their three children, Austin, 11, Rylie, 7, and Walker, 5. Brian’s hobbies include cooking and grilling, fishing, hunting and playing golf.

Brian comes to Mashburn on the heels of the company’s recent announcement of being selected as one of the Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies in South Carolina by SC Biz News. He is excited by the new challenges he will face in this role and helping the company to continue its vision of “building better communities” throughout the state and region.
