Local Organizations collaborate for community-wide back to school event

Upstate Community and Family Day

The Urban League of the Upstate, a local non-profit organization. The Urban League of the Upstate’s college access program, Project Ready, prepares middle and high school students for college, work, and life. Since its inception, this program has served thousands of youths across the upstate to ensure academic development, social development, and college culture and awareness on July 30th, 2022, at 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29607(McAlister Square) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Project Ready and over twenty organizations have united to present one major back-to-school event called the Upstate Community and Family Day. There will be free backpacks, school supplies, and more.
