Ruwer to oversee the guest experience and special programming for the 16,000 square-foot rooftop restaurant and bar poised to transform downtown Greenville
Juniper is pleased to announce the appointment Will Ruwer as lifestyle ambassador. Opening Spring 2021 and located eight floors above Greenville’s Main Street on Camperdown Plaza, Juniper will offer multiple high-energy zones, handcrafted cocktails and unparalleled views of downtown Greenville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. As Juniper’s lifestyle ambassador, Ruwer will be responsible for creating unique guest experiences and activating the rooftop space with special programming and events.

Ruwer comes to Juniper from Springhill Suites & Residence Inn in Greenville where he served as guest services manager and was part of the hotel opening team. Prior to that, he served as manager of Jianna. Born in Brazil, Ruwer began his career in hospitality as a concierge of a five-star hotel before moving to the United States. His extensive hospitality experience also includes serving as food and beverage manager of the acclaimed Apparatus Room of The Detroit Foundation Hotel, where guests enjoyed a menu by Michelin-rated Chef Thomas Lent.
“Juniper is a mesmerizing space and I look forward to complementing it with special experiences, programming and events that leave guests wanting to come back again and again,” said Ruwer. “My goal as lifestyle ambassador is to transport guests to a new and exciting destination the moment they arrive and for everyone to see and feel the passion and exceptional detail that is put into each dish and cocktail.”
Guests of Juniper will be immersed in a beautiful garden-inspired design boasting views that can be enjoyed year-round with the venue’s Equinox roof system. Sharable plates will compliment a drink menu of both innovative and classic cocktails, as well as a curated selection of wine, beer and spirits, while a chic gin trolley will circulate throughout the rooftop and impress guests with a tableside masterclass in mixology.
