Hood Construction announces new teammates

Hood Construction has added, Douglas Singletary as Pre-Construction Manager and Sydney Long as Talent Management Coordinator.

Singletary joins Hood Construction as Pre-Construction Manager, bringing 10 years of progressive experience in preconstruction, estimating, and project management across multifamily, senior living, and commercial markets. A 2018 graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Construction Science, Singletary was actively involved in the Association of General Contractor (AGC), National Home Builders Association (NAHB) Competition Team, and Clemson Contractors Guild during his academic career.

Long joins Hood Construction as Talent Management Coordinator, bringing over 8 years of professional recruiting experience across NC & SC. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Merchandising & Retail Management (2018) and has built a strong track record of connecting talented individuals with employers across a wide range of industries.

At Hood Construction, Long leads workforce strategy through recruitment, training, career development for both field and office teammates, and the company’s internship program.
