Homes of Hope promotes Lloyd Jackson to Workforce Construction Manager

Homes of Hope has promoted Lloyd Jackson to Workforce Construction Manager for its Men’s Workforce Development program.

Since joining Homes of Hope in September 2023 as Men’s Workforce Development Project Foreman, Jackson has demonstrated exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission. His promotion reflects both his dedication to developing the men in the program and his commitment to excellence in affordable housing construction.

As Workforce Construction Manager, Jackson will expand upon the leadership responsibilities he held as Men’s Workforce Development Project Foreman. He will oversee every HOPE House construction project from planning through completion, ensuring each home is built safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while continuing to provide daily instruction and mentorship to program participants.

In September 2025, Jackson earned his South Carolina residential builder’s license, further strengthening his ability to lead Homes of Hope’s growing affordable housing efforts and support the organization’s commitment to construction excellence.The HOPE House is a cornerstone of Homes of Hope’s mission. Designed to serve households with the lowest incomes in Greenville County, each home is constructed by men participating in the organization’s one-year residential Men’s Workforce Development program for men overcoming drug and alcohol addiction. During their time in the program, participants have the opportunity to build up to three HOPE Houses while gaining hands-on construction experience, industry-recognized credentials, and the skills needed for sustainable

employment in the skilled trades.

Jackson’s promotion is especially meaningful because he is a graduate of Homes of Hope’s Men’s Workforce Development program. Having experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of the program, he now helps guide the next generation of participants as they develop marketable skills, rebuild their lives, and prepare for long-term careers in construction.
