Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Mackenzie Ruroede elected to Greenville Literacy Association Board of Directors

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. announced that Mackenzie C. Ruroede has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Greenville Literacy Association.


She will serve a two-year term ending in August 2027.


For 60 years, the Greenville Literacy Association has empowered adults in Greenville by offering high-quality instruction in reading, writing, math, GED™ preparation and English as a Second Language, with added support through College and Career Navigation. As a key partner in the state’s workforce development system, the organization helps participants build employability through digital literacy, career readiness, pre-CNA courses and employer-driven workplace-specific training programs.


Mackenzie is an associate in the firm’s Greenville office, where she focuses her practice on family law and litigation. She counsels clients on a wide variety of family law issues, including complex financial matters, contested custody matters, premarital agreements and the modification of prior family court orders.


Mackenzie is a graduate of the National Family Law Trial Institute and the South Carolina Family Law Trial Academy. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Family Law (2024-2026), South Carolina Super Lawyers® “Rising Stars” for Family Law (2022-2025) and Greenville Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite of the Upstate” for Family Law (2023-2025).
