Hartness announces the sale of its 200th homesite

Hartness announced the sale of the community’s 200th homesite. Founded by the Hartness family and located on Greenville’s Eastside, the 482-acre urban village features a pedestrian-connected village with in-town convenience, resort-style amenities, and extraordinary home architecture set against the backdrop of one of the most stunning and unspoiled pieces of land in the Greenville area.

“The sale of our 200th homesite is a significant achievement as well as a testament to Hartness’ dedicated sales team and the demand for an amenity-rich village where interconnectivity and seamless community living are paramount,” said Hartness Development CEO Sean Hartness. “Buyers from every corner of the country are drawn to our unique concept, spectacular setting, and vibrant lifestyle rooted in fostering connections,” he continued.

The community’s design by renowned master planner and urbanist Lew Oliver adheres to the principles of Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) where neighbors connect with each other through scenic sidewalks, green spaces, a village center with access to daily conveniences, and world-class amenities with intentional programming. Essential to Hartness’ TND design is a thoughtful blend of homesites in proximity to the village’s amenities and that can accommodate a variety of home styles, types, and sizes to serve a wide range of homeowners in various stages of life. A steadfast commitment to outstanding craftsmanship and quality building materials ties the diverse plans all together and results in a harmonious assortment of homes seen throughout the flourishing community.

“Boasting incredible architecture and charming residential districts located in a walkable community with resort-style amenities, time-saving convenience, and a 180-acre nature preserve, Hartness cannot be duplicated anywhere else in Upstate South Carolina. Paired with our special history and forward-thinking leadership, this puts the one-of-a-kind community in a league of its own,” said David Robertson, broker-in-charge of Hartness Real Estate.

Nationally award-winning and currently home to 153 completed residences, and 19 homes under construction, Hartness sits on the sprawling Hartness family estate where the family has long envisioned creating a legacy community built to last for future generations. Since breaking ground in 2016, sales by Hartness Real Estate have increased year-over-year and the pedestrian-friendly village has experienced strategic growth to include land preservation, new neighborhoods, and natural and built amenities such as the Grand Lawn, a mixed-use village center, Hotel Hartness, The Hartness Farm, a Sports Garden, and a luxurious pool complex opening this summer.

Hartness emphasized the milestone moment and exciting journey ahead. “The community is in the midst of exciting transformation and each day our collective efforts drive us closer to surpassing goals and realizing the full potential of our community. The 200th homesite sale is an accomplishment to celebrate and it spurs anticipation for what is to come as we strategically grow and further establish a pioneering standard for neighborhood living,” he said.

Hartness’ newest residential developments include The Meadow and Woodland Retreat. The Meadow release introduced a collection of homesites featuring new designs of classic Hartness homes along with several debut plans. Residences of The Meadow will enjoy access to natural amenities, including the Hartness Nature Preserve, a park, a trailhead, and a butterfly garden – all connected by a network of green streets running throughout. Woodland Retreat boasts several remarkable homesites and three home plans exclusive to the neighborhood. Tucked away in nearly seven acres of preserved woodlands, the secluded natural setting for Woodland Retreat is not experienced anywhere else in Hartness and it provided inspiration for the neighborhood’s modern home designs that beautifully blend into and reflect their surroundings.
