A virtual networking and hiring event will connect qualified adjunct faculty applicants with department representatives who have hiring needs at Greenville Technical College. The event will be held on May 10, 2022, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Adjunct positions offer flexible schedules with day, evening, weekend, and online classes offered at all campus locations. Many adjuncts have retired from full-time work in their chosen careers but want to stay active within the profession, are electing to supplement full-time work with part-time teaching responsibilities, or have left full-time faculty positions but retain a love for teaching and student contact that adjunct responsibilities satisfy.
Adjunct faculty are now being recruited for the following disciplines: Accounting, Auto Body Repair, Automotive Technology, Building Construction Technology, College Skills, Computer Technology/Cybersecurity, Cosmetology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, HVAC, Industrial Electricity Technology, Medical Assisting, Paralegal, Philosophy, Spanish, Ophthalmic Medical Assistant, Skilled Trades, and Transitional/Developmental courses in English, math, and reading.
