Greenville Chamber names LG 47 class

The Greenville Chamber’s Leadership Greenville program has accepted 35 participants for its 47th class. Participants were selected based on a thorough application process including essays, professional resume and community involvement. Leadership Greenville is the Chamber's premier 10-month leadership development program designed to develop informed, committed and qualified leaders for Greenville County. By taking an intensive look into the issues affecting the area, Leadership Greenville prepares and motivates participants to provide quality, dynamic leadership. The program has graduated over 2,200 alumni since 1973, many of which have served in key positions, including school board, city and county council seats, members of the General Assembly and Congress, judges, and business leaders. For this year’s class, every measure has been considered to provide a safe Leadership Greenville experience while maintaining the legacy of the program, including introducing virtual elements, reducing the class size and following all covid safety guidelines when meeting in-person.
