Goats ‘n’ Grail to open in GReenville

 A new destination for collectors and hobby enthusiasts has arrived in Greenville.

Founded by lifelong collector Dan Egerdahl, Goats ‘n’ Grails is built on a passion that started in childhood. From collecting LEGO sets and trading cards to action figures and memorabilia, Egerdahl has spent decades immersed in the hobby.

 “I’ve been collecting since I was seven years old,” said Egerdahl. “This shop is a combination of everything I’ve loved about the hobby over the years. I wanted to create a space that brings together the best parts of collecting and makes it accessible and exciting for everyone.”

The store will celebrate its grand opening on April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.at 2738 N Pleasantburg Dr, Greenville, SC 29609. Guests can expect fun surprises, exclusive offers, and chances to win prizes at different times during the event. It’s all about creating a welcoming, exciting experience for collectors, families, and fans of the hobby.

Originally from Chicago, the family has infused the shop with personal touches that reflect their roots and passions. The store features ivy and brick design elements inspired by Wrigley Field, paying homage to their favorite teams—the Bulls, Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears—while creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

Goats ‘n’ Grails offers a wide range of products and services, including:

- Sealed products, singles, and graded cards (“slabs”) across sports and trading card games, including NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, Formula 1, soccer, Pokémon, One Piece, and Magic: The Gathering

- Signed sports memorabilia such as baseballs, bats, and photos

- Retired sealed LEGO sets

- Hobby supplies including sleeves, top loaders, and binders

The shop also aims to serve as a hub for the local community by hosting:
