John Boyanoski, the president and CEO of Complete PR, continues his long career of community service with his joining the advisory board of the Caine Halter YMCA.
Boyanoski spent more than a decade covering the Upstate as a journalist. At Complete PR, he has developed unique media campaigns designed to create and generate positive public exposure. When not running Complete PR, John believes in service to the community.
He serves on The Greenville Chamber Board of Advisors, and is the past chairman of the Greenville Zoo Foundation Board, Rebuild Upstate, and the Greenville Chamber’s PULSE Advisory Council. He also spent six years on the board of The Children’s Museum of the Upstate including two years on the executive committee. He also has served on City of Greenville Community Development Board, and the South Carolina Small Business Development Board (Upstate). He was named one of Greenville's Best and Brightest in 2012, is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 40, and is a graduate of the Greenville Health System Medical Scholar program. He was named the Greenville Chamber's 2014 Young Professional of the Year. He is the author of four books including Reimagining Greenville.
Joining the YMCA’s Caine Halter Board is a special honor for Boyanoski because of his long-standing ties to the organization.
“There are a lot of great memories. I used to walk miles to play pickup basketball games at the YMCA in my hometown as a teen, and I trained for my first marathon with a group that met at the Caine Halter YMCA,” he said. “Both of my kids have taken part in numerous YMCA summer camps and programs as well.”
