Celebrating 10 years of the Minority Business Accelerator

The Greenville Chamber recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Minority Business Accelerator. The celebration was held at the Peace Center’s Huguenot Loft on Sept. 8, with the celebration being presented by Bank of America.

What is the Minority Business Accelerator? Created in 2012, the MBA assists the growth of high-potential minority-owned firms with access to training, business coaches, and larger corporations to not only better themselves, but also to help grow Greenville as a premier business community. Since the program’s inception, it has had over 120 participants, created 250 new and full-time jobs, and generated $26 million.

During the celebration, MBA program graduates got to share the impact of this program on their businesses, plus hear from other entrepreneurs and listen to their own success stories.

For the 2023 MBA program, the chamber is already recruiting. Interested? Find more info at greenvillechamber.org/mba.
