BASF in South Carolina receives two Best in Business Awards

MAULDIN, SOUTH CAROLINA, December 15, 2023 – South Carolina Business Magazines’ readers awarded BASF sites across the Upstate South Carolina region with two Best in Business Awards.


BASF received the Gold Award/First place in both the Best Manufacturer or Exporter and Best Advanced Manufacturer categories. This is the third straight year that BASF was featured in the Magazines’ Best in Business Awards. In 2022, BASF took home silver honors in the Best Manufacturer or Exporter and Best Advanced Manufacturer categories, and in 2021, BASF earned an Advanced Manufacturer honorable mention.


The Best in Business awards recognize companies and individuals from around the state that bring success to South Carolina's business community. Winners were announced in the December issue of Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly and Charleston Business Magazine.


BASF has sites in Central (Clemson), White Stone, Mauldin and Seneca. The South Carolina sites employ approximately 750 people and invest nearly $85 million in the state through annual payroll, purchases, investments, taxes and charitable contributions.
