BASF ECMS names Mike Estadt site director in Seneca

SENECA, SC-- BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions (ECMS) has appointed Mike Estadt as site director of its Seneca, SC, production site.

Estadt brings more than 20 years of operations and manufacturing leadership experience across a variety of industrial sectors. 

In his role, Estadt is responsible for leading operations at the Seneca facility and supporting the site's continued focus on safety, reliability, operational excellence and community engagement.

Most recently, Estadt served as a senior site director for Protective Industrial Products (formerly Honeywell PPE) in Charleston, SC, where he led a two-site manufacturing operation. In that role, he was responsible for overall site performance and delivered strong results in safety, operational efficiency, and employee engagement, including improvements in injury rates, productivity, and cost performance. 

Prior to that, Estadt held leadership roles at Ascend Performance Materials in Greenwood, SC, where he served as manufacturing director for a large-scale, continuous chemical manufacturing operation, and at Norbord, where he was general manager with full profit-and-loss responsibility. 

Earlier in his career, he held a variety of progressive leadership positions in operations, maintenance, and engineering, building deep expertise in safety culture transformation, operational excellence and capital project execution.
